Environmental Policy with Antonio Villaraigosa


Join USC Environmental Student Assembly and Professor Esparza’s PPD 225 class as we invite former mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, to speak on environmental policy and sustainability in our city on Monday, October 13th at 10 am in RGL 101!


Antonio Villaraigosa served as the 41st Mayor of Los Angeles, California from 2005 to 2013. Prior to being elected Mayor, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 1994 to 2000, the Democratic leader of the Assembly from 1996 to 1998, and the Speaker of the California State Assembly from 1998 to 2000. During his tenure as Mayor, he gained national attention for his work and was featured in Time’s 35 most influential Latinos.
