Join USC Environmental Student Assembly and USC Schwarzenegger Institute at our first ever #ECOTALKS, a series of Exclusive Roundtable Discussions with Environmental Leaders. We will be hosting an intimate roundtable discussion with Ed Begley, Jr. on January 26th from 6:30-8pm at the USC Schwarzenegger Institute. Dinner will be provided.

Renowned actor and environmentalist, Ed Begley Jr. has been an environmental leader in the Hollywood community for many years. He serves on the boards of the Coalition for Clean Air, the Theoreau Institute, and on the advisory board of the Union of Concerned Scientists, among many others.

His work in the environmental community has earned him a number of awards from some of the most prestigious environmental groups in the nation, including the California League of Conservation Voters, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Coalition for Clean Air, Heal the Bay, Santa Monica Baykeeper, and the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation.

As an actor, he has been in numerous television shows and movies, such as Arrested Development, CSI: Miami, and Pineapple Express. He has also received 6 consecutive Emmy nominations for his work in the television series, “St. Elsewhere.” More recently he and his wife starred in the TV series, “Living with Ed” about his quest to live life with a small carbon footprint. Currently, Begley Jr. stars in his own web series, “On Begley Street,” to explore sustainable living and balancing comfort with consumption as they attempt to build their home under LEED Platinum Certified standards.
